Our Start
Let's start by saying that my sister and I love to laugh. Not sure what it is, but we can crack each other up with the silliest of comments. Having grown up in those grey Oregon winters, laughing becomes very important to keep your spirits high.
Sometime in winter of 2009, my sister and I made a joke about how canning jars hold all smells. "No Stinkum, we should call it a NoStinkum jar". Two things happened with that statement. Firstly, we both literally hit the floor laughing. Secondly, our jars were born.

The Gumption Sisters
Our humble start on a small, Oregon farm taught us two things: work ethic and gumption. It isn't easy to get up every morning before the sun, 40 degrees and raining, and wrestle awnry goats into stantions for milking -- not easy at all. But it builds determination, perseverance and drive.
If we ever complained that none of the kids at school had to do chores before school, my father would always say, "Girls, life is not fair". He's right. Life isn't fair. Life is what you make of it !
We are the quintessential gumption sisters. Michelle rocks the marketing and sales; Yvonne rocks the business building; and together we rock the creatives behind each jar.
So we both hope your life is filled with laughter and gumption.

After reaching the leadership level of a large corporate firm, Michelle brings to NoStinkum excellence in marketing and sales. "Being one of the top leaders in my company has taught me to never give up. You never know what is around the next corner. I just love a challenge."
Yvonne Ramage
Yvonne has both excelled at a career in technology and entrepreneurship. "I have always loved doing many different things. Technology was my mainstay, but building businesses had my heart."
She currently owns and operates several businesses, as well as helping coach/mentor new entrepreneurs. "Corporate world was never my bag, although it is where I gained a good deal of my experience. I love the innovation, drive and excitement of building companies."
